TRANSLATIONS

Partnering with a number of publishing houses in Spain, Italy and the UK over the years, I have engaged in dozens of translation projects. Most commonly I translate from Spanish to English, though I can just as easily conduct traffic in the opposite direction. On occasion I also translate from French and Italian.

In some sense I’m fortunate because I’m attracted to a number of widely different topics–I wouldn’t go as far as admitting to being a scatterbrain but let’s just say my interests are dispersed. Having said that, I’ve been doubly lucky in that my passion for photography–to which I’ve been hooked since I was a teenager–has found a productive and enjoyable outlet in my partnership with the Spanish publishing house La Fábrica, on behalf of which I have translated dozens of photography books. From football to philosophy, going through music, art, cars and back again to film, I’m always on the lookout for the next project.

Take a look at some of the highlights from my translation work in the field of ART and NARRATIVE.
